Brief Biography:
Nick Khelawan, a former High School teacher from the Fiji Islands migrated to USA in the mid 1980´s and like everyone else, worked for several companies before becoming a Real Estate agent with Century 21. After eight years with Century 21 in Union City, Nick decided that it was time to form a Real Estate company that was geared more towards the needs and aspirations of the highly mobile migrant community in the Bay Area.

Prime Properties of California was formed in 2000 and was registered in Hayward. Nick was soon joined by five agents. The initial success of the business had more agents wanting to join the organization. At this time, Nick decided to move the operation to Union City and set up a larger office.

It took many months to set up the office and sufficiently train the agents. Apart from in-house training, agents got specialized training through the Realtors Association and content specific seminars.

In November 2001, Nick opened another branch of Prime Properties in Sacramento.

in 2004, Nick has affiliated a portion of his company with ERA and has opened a new branch in Hayward to further the potential of his business.

The success of this organization can be attributed to their motto
"Come Home to Service and Trust".

Apart from real Estate activities, Nick Khelawan is a busy father. Together with his wife, Veena, they are raising two teenage children. He is also very active among the many religious, social, and sports organizations in Northern California.
